The Work
Candlelight works a modern-farmhouse vocabulary — sometimes pushed toward Scandinavian restraint, sometimes toward European farmhouse — executed at production scale. The clearest statement is the Chamonix at Firefly, designed with Boulder-based DTJ DESIGN: Scandinavian influences layered over the modern farmhouse, natural materials, side courtyards that pull light deep into narrow lots, windows tucked between kitchen cabinets. Across the parade entries the signatures repeat: indoor-outdoor entertaining space, chef’s kitchens with prep kitchens or pantries, ADUs with private entrances, wet-room primary suites, 10-foot ceilings. Interiors on the parade homes come from Chymia Design; the Brin Valley entry credits an in-house Candlelight architect. DTJ’s own designer says it’s rare to see this level of detail carried through in a production community.
